One in four people in Silicon Valley is at risk of hunger. Second Harvest feeds about 500,000 of them every month, and turns each dollar we raise into two meals.
It goes further than canned goods
Second Harvest buys in bulk and sources fresh produce directly from farms, so a dollar donated buys far more food than a dollar spent at the grocery store.
It stays local
Every meal is distributed through food pantries, schools, and partner sites across San Mateo and Santa Clara counties, including families in Burlingame.
It adds up fast
Our goal is small on purpose. If every club member gets just two people to give $10, we’ll pass $500 before our next meeting.
